I’m so happy to share that my watercolor triptych Flowers of Japan will be on display at the Friendship through Culture (2026) Community Arts Exhibition at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre in Toronto.

Exhibition Dates:

• March 1 – May 29, 2026

Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre (JCCC), Toronto

• Opening Reception: March 1, 2026 | 2:00–4:00 PM

• Artist Talk: May 24, 2026

Friendship through Culture (2026) explores how culture can preserve memory while also creating new ways of living together. Rooted in Japanese Canadian cultural life, the exhibition invites reflections on belonging, resilience, layered identities, and the evolving meanings of connection across generations and communities.

My triptych, Flowers of Japan, draws from moments spent in Japanese gardens and temples, using floral symbolism to reflect on memory, impermanence, and shared presence in nature. I’m honored to have this work included in such a thoughtful and timely exhibition.
